Malaysia to target Indian tourists

Malaysia wants to increase the number of tourist arrivals from India by 20 percent this year and has launched ‘One Malaysia- Endless Experience’ a marketing campaign which focuses on Malaysia as a value for money destination.

The campaign was launched in Delhi by Dato Sri Dr Ng Yen Yen, Tourism Minister, Malaysia and a three night package jointly offered by Tourism Malaysia, Malaysia Airlines and Malaysian hotels, was unveiled.

In addition, Malaysia Airlines is planning to increase the number of flights between the two countries. It currently offers three flights a week from Bangalore and Hydrabad to Malaysia, this will be increased to four a week this year and five a week in 2010.
