Despite the current economic gloom, Kuala Lumpur will see a new 65-storey skyscraper rise up alongside the iconic 88-storey Petronas Twin Towers.
The tower, called Four Seasons Place, is being built by developer Syed Yusof along with Malaysian tycoon, Ong Beng Seng and the Sultan of Selangor. It will include a Four Seasons hotel, luxury apartments and a shopping mall and will be completed by 2012.
Syed Yusof said, “We are committed to the project even during the downturn.”
