The UAE’s airline Emirates has added an extra daily connection between Dubai and Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur – making a total of 21 weekly non-stop flights.

Emirates says that the increased flights are due to passenger demand.  Says Richard Jewsbury, Emirates’ Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, Far East and Australasia, “Emirates has always been committed to Malaysia. This increase in flight frequency follows strong and increasing demand for flights not just from business travellers, but leisure travellers as well.
” He added that the extra flights would boost Malaysian tourism.

Emirates first begin flights between the two countries in 1996.
